Content Notes

My books are not particularly graphic. However, I recognize that everyone has different life experiences and different tolerance levels. While I tend to view my books as being fairly non-explicit in terms of actual content, they do deal with themes that may be too dark or heavy for some readers.

I’ve done my best to rate my books for content based on the IAC content levels and IAC spice levels guides. Content notes specific to each book are included as well.

Mistakes We Never Made

  • Content notes/warnings: emotional abuse, mild alcohol use
  • Content level: soft PG-13
  • Spice level: Closed Door Level 2

Small Great Joys

  • Heavy themes: discussion of rape, physical abuse and violence, bullying, death of parent, suicide, religious trauma, discussion of animal death
  • Content level: PG-13
  • Spice level: Closed Door Level 1
